Falling for Fall

Can I tell you how much I love this time of year? I love everything about it...the cooler weather...football...the colorful fall leaves...the anticipation of the holidays around the corner...the yummy food...homemade soups & scones...carmeled apples...I saw a bag of carmels at the store the other day and instantly started craving them..I'm certain I ate half the bag once I got them home...not so good for the growing belly but oh, so yummy!...I love the aroma of a pumpkin candle burning and decorating with fall decor. squeal. I love my decorated porch with corn stalks, pumpkins, and wooden Halloween creatures perched on a bale of hay by my scraggly twig tree that lights up at night. Nothing brightens a room more than lighted garland on a fireplace mantle or a display of old canning jars filled with festive candy corn, m&m's, gumballs and lollipops topped with paper mache holiday jar lids. Oh...so cute!

You gotta love the children's book The Spider and the Fly....

I even found some holiday decor to spoof up my plate rack...On Halloween Night things go bump in the night...spooky!

I Love Love Love this time of year....Fall makes me happy!
