The Festival of Trees

There are so many beautiful Christmas trees here..800 of them! Talk about tree overload. Didn't see ALL of them but from what I did see these two were my favorite!

 Kyleigh was performing at the Festival with her Irish dance group Rinceoiri Don Spraoi...These are her new Irish soft shoes called gillies...straight from Ireland. She loves them! Since she is a beginner she won't be with the main performance class until after St. Patrick's Day. She's dy'in, only because the beginners class has THE most hideous costumes you've ever seen. Kyleigh and her cousin were mortified to even be seen in them let alone prance around on stage in them.

The look on K's face just about sums up how these costumes make them feel....

 They can't wait to wear these...

 Had some Artic Circle ice-cream cones and shakes afterwards...baby Kate could not get enough of it...nor could I....just keep the egg nog ice cream away from me people. Way too good!
