I got the best phone call this week from my friend
Katrina in Arizona. She attended the American Idol
concert Tuesday night in Glendale, the first concert
of the 2008 American Idol tour. AHHHHH! If that
isn't exciting enough....it gets better! She and her
family are huge Brooke White fans and because
she is a close friend of Brooke's family she got back stage
passes AHHHHH! to see the Idols after the concert.
She not only talked with David Archuleta, but told him
about ME and how I am such a diehard fan of his. Katrina
said he seemed really touched with her account of all the
things I tried to do during the Idol season to get people
to vote for him. Anyway, he gave her a personalized
autograph to give to me. AHHHH!
(had a tad bit of a freak out over the phone... sorry Katrina LOL)
Above is the picture of Katrina and Jeff with David. Katrina
admits that she was starstruck.....of course, how could she not be!
After hearing the awesome concert reports, watching him sing his
four concert songs via fanblast and justintv... AND hearing about
Katrina and Jeff's experience, I was ready for a fangirly breakdown***sob***
Here is David singing WYSYLM (dedicated to his fans) during
the San Diego concert. ***thud***

You are too funny! If it makes you feel any better, I had one of those phone freak outs a few years back when the U of U choir director called to tell me they REALLY needed people to volunteer to do something that nobody was wanting to do. When he told me it was sing backup for the Barry concert, I literally dropped the phone and had a hissy on the spot. Somebody scraped me back off the floor and told him that was a "yes".
