David Archuleta's Concert

No, that wasn't a horror movie on Friday night at the E

Center. Those bloodcurdling screams heard from miles away

were thousands of fans at David Archuleta's hometown show

of his 2009 concert tour. We've been waiting for this night

for like EVER. And the night did not disappoint. David was

amazing! The night was spent reminiscing and enjoying good

food & music with dear Archie friends. One even coming all

the way from Canada.

Only a couple of our YW and their moms were able to join us

for the meeting up town but for those that went it was

an uplifting and enjoyable evening hearing counsel from

our church leaders. I'm so grateful to have a daughter

old enough now to attend these meetings with.

St. Patrick's Day!

trouble avoid you wherever you go...

In celebration of St. Paddy's Day we had an Irish style lunch

with the family. We sampled traditional Irish soda bread, corn

beef and actual cheese from Ireland, (the cheese department

at Harmon's is a cheese lover's dream...they have different

cheeses from all over the world.)

For the main meal we served soup that Jaren made..Split

Pea Ham in honor of all things "green" and Kielbasa soup

because it has the cabbage and potatoes which are such

a big part of an Irish meal. Can't forget the yummy brownies

with the green mint frosting that Emma made for dessert.

Word is getting out about our Sunday themed dinners. My

father -in-law says the Stake Presidency knows about them

and they might be popping in one of these Sundays. LOL

Celebrating St. Patrick's Day wouldn't

be complete without watching a little

Darby O'Gill and the Little People,

the girls searching the house for gold

coins that the Leprechaun has left and

eating a bowl full of Lucky Charms. We

love this dang holiday and we aren't

even Irish!

6. Went to an evening Dyslexia Workshop for work
7. Watched Cinderella III with my girls
8. Read to Brie as she fell asleep

8 Things I'm looking forward to:
1. The Draper Temple Dedication.
2. David Archuleta’s concert in three weeks .
3. Spring Break at the end of the month.
4. Going to Vegas this summer with my sisters to see IL DIVO.
5. Going to St. George and the Tuachan this summer.
6. Going to YW Stake Girls Camp this summer…and not having to be in charge.
7. Running the River in Moab for Youth Conference.
8. Springtime…and it being lighter in the evenings.

5. The love handles in my mid section would go away.
6. Talk of a family trip to Disney Paris in a couple of yrs. will actually become a reality.
7. Jaren will like his new position at the hospital.
8. Adopt a baby from a foreign country.
